Newburyport, MA – Worker Injured in Industrial Accident at Perkins Way

Newburyport, MA (August 29, 2024) – A worker suffered serious injuries in an industrial accident on Perkins Way this morning. The incident involved a forklift and occurred around 9:40 a.m. Emergency responders requested additional Advanced Life Support (ALS) and transported the injured worker to Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

The scene has been secured for an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) investigation. The exact cause of the accident is still being determined. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding this workplace injury.
