North Tonawanda, NY – Bicyclist Severely Injured in Hit-and-Run at Main and Tremont St

North Tonawanda, NY (August 12, 2024) – A male bicyclist suffered severe injuries in a hit-and-run accident early Saturday morning at the intersection of Main and Tremont St. The incident occurred around 1:15 a.m., according to the North Tonawanda Police Department.

Authorities are searching for a blue subcompact car, possibly a Kia, suspected to be involved. The vehicle likely has noticeable damage to the passenger side of the front end. The injured cyclist was rushed to Erie County Medical Center, where he is currently receiving treatment.
