Ojai, CA – Pedestrian Fatality on Ventura Ave Results in Death

Ojai, CA (August 1, 2024) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a driver in a white van on Ventura Ave across from the Rite Aid parking lot in Ojai. The fatal incident occurred in front of 11496 N. Ventura Ave around 7:02 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31. The California Highway Patrol has confirmed the accident.

Emergency services responded swiftly, but the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not been released.
