Ontario, NY – Motorcyclist Killed in Accident on State Rte 104

Ontario, NY (August 12, 2024) – A 59-year-old man, identified as Dale Bogardus from Ontario, tragically died in a motorcycle accident on Saturday night, August 10. The crash occurred shortly before 11:45 p.m. on State Rte 104 in the Town of Ontario.

Authorities reported that Bogardus’s motorcycle collided with the back of a car. He was rushed by ambulance to Strong Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. Fortunately, no one in the car sustained injuries.

Sheriff’s deputies are actively investigating the cause of the crash, and further details will be provided as the investigation continues.
