Orono, ME (September 9, 2024) – A fatal motorcycle crash occurred early Monday, September 9 on Main St near the Penobscot Valley Country Club. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, died at the scene.
According to the Orono Police Department, the motorcyclist was speeding and overtaking multiple vehicles when they collided with a car. Despite wearing a helmet, the individual was pronounced dead at the location of the accident.
