Orwell, VT (August 25, 2024) – Vermont State Police responded to a three-vehicle crash on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The incident occurred on VT-22A near the Orwell-Shoreham town line.
A vehicle traveling southbound veered into the oncoming lane, striking the rear driver’s side of another car. This collision sent the second vehicle into a ditch. The out-of-control vehicle then hit a motorcyclist.
The driver of the vehicle that caused the crash and the motorcyclist were both taken to UVM Medical Center with suspected serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the first vehicle were unharmed.
Authorities are investigating the incident, and further details will be provided as the inquiry progresses.
