Oyster Bay Cove, NY – Motorcyclist Killed in Wrong-Way Accident on Berry Hill Rd

Oyster Bay Cove, NY (September 17, 2024) – A fatal accident occurred on Sunday, September 15. When a motorcyclist collided with a car on Berry Hill Rd. At around 3:40 p.m., 21-year-old Michael Rampanelli of Syosset was riding a 2022 Honda motorcycle southbound when he entered the northbound lanes near Northern Blvd. He collided with a 2023 Kia Forte driven by a 62-year-old man.

Rampanelli suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Kia remained at the scene, and no other injuries were reported.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
