Ozaukee County, WI – 8 Students Injured in School Bus Overturn at Cty Rd E & Jay Rd

Ozaukee County, WI (September 16, 2024) – Eight students were injured on Monday morning, September 16 when a school bus, carrying 36 Random Lake School District students, overturned near the intersection of Cty Rd E and Jay Rd at 7:23 a.m.

A Jeep Grand Cherokee collided with the bus after failing to stop at a sign, causing the bus to spin and tip over. Injured students were taken to hospitals, and none of the injuries were life-threatening.

Authorities are still investigating the crash, and the Jeep’s driver received a citation for failing to yield.
