
Pagosa Springs, CO (August 25, 2024) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized Friday night, August 23 following a hit-and-run crash on U.S. Highway 160, approximately 10 miles west of Pagosa Springs. Colorado State Patrol is investigating the incident, which occurred near mile marker 133.
The crash happened around 7 p.m. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been disclosed, sustained non-serious injuries. After being hit, the man ended up in the eastbound lane of U.S. 160. Other motorists assisted by moving him and his motorcycle to a nearby parking lot.
CSP trooper Dan Selph and Sgt. Dillon Guinn reported that the motorcyclist is in stable condition, but details about the hit-and-run driver remain unclear.
