Parkersburg, WV – Injuries Reported in Semi-Bus Collision on Ohio Ave

Parkersburg, WV (August 15, 2024) – Emergency crews attended to a collision involving a semi-truck and an Easy Rider Bus on Ohio Ave at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, August 14. According to Parkersburg Police Lt. Depue, the semi ran a red light after exiting the Memorial Bridge, striking the southbound bus. Two individuals were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Following the incident, Ohio Avenue experienced a brief closure but has since reopened to traffic. As of now, no citations have been issued. Parkersburg Police, Parkersburg Fire, and St. Joseph’s Ambulance Services responded to the scene.
