Pensacola, FL – Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Collision on N 9th Ave

Pensacola, FL (August 22, 2024) – A 19-year-old motorcyclist from Rochester, MN, suffered critical injuries on Wednesday, August 21. The crash occurred around 9:10 p.m. at N 9th Ave and Tippin Ave.

The motorcyclist was traveling north on N 9th Ave when a Nissan SUV, driven by a 32-year-old Pensacola woman, turned left into the Walgreens parking lot. The SUV driver failed to see the motorcycle and stopped to avoid a collision. The motorcycle struck the SUV’s right side and was thrown into the roadway. The bike then continued across N 9th Ave and hit a parked vehicle.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The SUV driver and passenger were uninjured. Authorities are investigating the incident and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
