Peoria, AZ – One Dead, One Injured in Crash on SR-74 at Lake Pleasant Pkwy

Peoria, AZ (August 25, 2024) – On Friday, August 23, a collision occurred at State Route 74 and Lake Pleasant Pkwy around 4 p.m. A silver Sonata turning left onto SR-74 collided with a black Ford F-150. 

Both occupants of the Sonata were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Ronald Dixon, 22, from Nevada, later died from his injuries. 

The driver of the Ford F-150 was uninjured and remained at the scene. 

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
