Phoenix, AZ – Crash Involving Semi-Truck on I-10 to I-17 Transition Causes Injuries

Phoenix, AZ (August 4, 2024) – A major collision early Saturday, August 4, involving a semi-truck led to a fire and road closures on the Interstate 10 to Interstate 17 transition. The incident, which occurred around 6:41 a.m., resulted in non-life-threatening injuries.

The Arizona Department of Transportation confirmed that all lanes were reopened by 1:16 p.m., following an eight-hour shutdown. The southbound lanes reopened around 8:13 a.m. after being closed for about 90 minutes.
