Phoenix, AZ – Woman and Child Critically Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 39th Ave and McDowell Rd

Phoenix, AZ (August 24, 2024) – A serious accident in west Phoenix on Friday, August 23, left a woman and a child with life-threatening injuries. The crash occurred around 2 p.m. near 39th Ave and McDowell Rd and involved three vehicles. 

Upon arriving, officers discovered that both the woman and child had been ejected from one of the cars. They were transported to the hospital in critical condition. A third person, also injured, was taken to the hospital but is in stable condition.

Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
