Pittsburgh, PA (August 10, 2024) – A motorcyclist sustained critical injuries after a collision with a car at the intersection of Glass Run and Baldwin roads on Friday night.
Emergency crews responded to the scene at 9:48 p.m. and found the motorcyclist, an adult male, with severe injuries. He was rushed to a hospital, where he underwent surgery and remains in critical condition. The car’s driver, who stayed at the scene, was uninjured.
Preliminary investigations suggest the driver ran a red light while under the influence. Police are expected to file charges against the driver as the investigation progresses. Further details will be provided as the inquiry continues.
