Port St. Lucie, FL – School Bus and Pickup Collision on U.S. Hwy 1 near SE Crosstown Pkwy

Port St. Lucie, FL (September 19, 2024) – A child sustained wrist injuries in a collision involving a school bus and a pickup truck on Thursday morning. The crash took place at 8:14 a.m. on U.S. Hwy 1 at the intersection of SE Crosstown Pkwy.

Six Morningside Elementary School students were aboard the bus at the time of the incident. Emergency responders treated one child at the scene for wrist injuries. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
