Prince Frederick, MD (August 22, 2024) – A severe motor vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday, August 21, at approximately 4:46 p.m. The collision involved three vehicles, with one overturning on Dares Beach Rd and Clay Hammond Rd.
Emergency responders arrived to find all occupants had self-extracted from their vehicles. EMS evaluated three individuals at the scene. Due to the severity of one person’s injuries, a MEDEVAC was called. The injured person was flown to a trauma center for treatment. The other two patients were transported to CalvertHealth for further evaluation.
Authorities are investigating the crash and will provide updates as more information becomes available.
