Red Lake Falls, MN – One Injured in Semi Truck and Golf Cart Collision at Hwy 32 & 7th St

Red Lake Falls, MN (August 3, 2024) – A collision between a semi-truck and a golf cart at the intersection of Highway 32 and 7th Street resulted in one injury this morning. The incident occurred at approximately 9:31 AM. The semi-truck, driven by Lance Robert Opdahl, 53, of Greenbush, MN, was northbound on Highway 32, while the golf cart, driven by Janice Jeanne Olson, 74, of Red Lake Falls, MN, was westbound on 7th Street when the vehicles collided.

Opdahl was uninjured, while Olson sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Sanford West Fargo for treatment. The Red Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
