Rehoboth Beach, DE (October 16, 2024) – A multi-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Munchy Branch Road and Route 1, involving four vehicles. The incident was reported around 6:37 PM on October 13, 2024, prompting a swift response from local emergency services.

According to the Delaware State Police, the crash was initiated by 39-year-old Kevin Graves of Fort Washington, Maryland, who was initially spotted driving a white Ford Flex at high speed without headlights on. After a trooper attempted to pull Graves over, he fled the scene, leading to a brief police pursuit that was ultimately terminated for safety reasons.

Shortly after, Graves’ vehicle was seen driving recklessly before crashing into four vehicles that were stopped at a red light at the intersection of Coastal Highway and Miller Road. Following the collision, Graves exited his vehicle and fled the scene on foot. Troopers conducted a search of the area and located him later that evening. Graves resisted arrest but was eventually taken into custody.

One individual, an 18-year-old woman from Georgetown, Delaware, was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries sustained in the crash. Fortunately, no other injuries were reported from the incident.

Graves was taken to Troop 7, where he faced multiple charges, including:
