Robertson County, TX (August 15, 2024) – A major crash involving a semi-truck occurred on Highway 6 and FM 2549 on Wednesday afternoon. The Robertson County Sheriff’s Office (RCSO) responded to the scene shortly before 4:30 p.m. The collision involved three vehicles, resulting in one fatality.
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is handling the preliminary investigation and will notify the next-of-kin. Northbound lanes were diverted to FM 2549, and southbound traffic was reduced to a single lane. The highway has since reopened, but the investigation into the incident continues.
