
Rochester, NY (August 1, 2024) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a crash on East Main St on Wednesday, July 31. The accident occurred around 11:45 p.m. at the intersection with North Union St. Police found the 47-year-old motorcyclist with a significant lower-body injury after his bike collided with a sedan.
The motorcycle and the sedan were both traveling westbound when they collided. Causing the motorcyclist to be thrown from his bike. An ambulance transported him to Strong Memorial Hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. The 31-year-old sedan driver was unharmed.
Authorities are investigating the crash, and they do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved. Further details will be provided as the inquiry continues.
