
San Francisco, CA (August 26, 2024) – A collision between a car and a motorcycle caused significant traffic delays on the Bay Bridge on Sunday, August 25. The accident, which occurred around 1:45 p.m., led to a major traffic backup in the westbound direction.
California Highway Patrol reports that most lanes were shut down for over an hour due to the crash. A Caltrans tower camera captured the incident, showing the extensive traffic congestion that ensued. The motorcycle was carrying two riders at the time of the crash.
