Santa Rosa County, FL – Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. 98 and Reserve Blvd

Santa Rosa County, FL (October 21, 2024) – A tragic two-vehicle crash occurred on U.S. 98 at the intersection of Reserve Boulevard, resulting in one fatality. The accident took place just before 1 p.m. on Sunday, prompting a rapid response from local authorities.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), a Nissan SUV was stopped at the intersection facing south on Reserve Boulevard and north on U.S. 98. As a Ford F-250 approached the intersection traveling westbound on U.S. 98, the Nissan failed to yield the right of way and entered the intersection, leading to a collision with the Ford.

The driver of the Nissan sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries. The occupants of the Ford, which included a 28-year-old male and two children, were transported to Sacred Heart by ambulance with minor injuries.
