SeaTac, WA – Injury in Rollover Crash on I-5 NB Near South 188th St

SeaTac, WA (August 22, 2024) – A rollover crash on northbound Interstate 5 near South 188th Street early Thursday resulted in injuries. The accident occurred around 1 a.m., involving a Kia Sportage and a Toyota Tacoma.

The Kia, traveling at high speed, rear-ended the Toyota, causing the pickup to end up in a ditch. The driver of the Toyota was ejected from the truck. Both vehicles were heavily damaged, and all northbound lanes were closed for seven hours, causing up to an 8-mile traffic backup.
