Selah, WA – Motorcycle Crash on State Route 821 Claims Life of 30-Year-Old

Selah, WA (October 1, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred on Sunday afternoon, resulting in the death of 30-year-old Seth Conyers from Wenatchee. The incident took place around 12:09 p.m. on State Route 821 at Pomona View, approximately two miles north of Selah’s city limits.

According to Washington State Troopers, Conyers was riding a southbound 2014 Honda CB100 when he collided with a northbound vehicle that was turning left onto Pomona View. Despite wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, Conyers was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the other vehicle, identified as 82-year-old Mary Lydigsen from Yakima, was unharmed and was wearing a seatbelt during the collision. However, her 3-year-old passenger, Scarlett Jones, sustained injuries and was transported to MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital for medical treatment.
