Trappe, MD – Multiple Injuries in 5-Vehicle Accident on Rt 50 and Barber Rd

Trappe, MD (August 13, 2024) – A severe multi-vehicle accident occurred on Monday, August 12, on eastbound Rt 50 at Barber Rd in Talbot County. The crash involved five vehicles, leading to multiple injuries and requiring extensive emergency response.

First responders arrived at the scene to find several individuals trapped in their vehicles. Emergency crews, including Talbot, Trappe, Cambridge RFC, and MSP Aviation, worked swiftly to extricate the victims. A total of three patients required medical attention. Two were airlifted to Shock Trauma by Trooper 4 and Trooper 6 helicopters, while the third was transported to the Easton hangar for further care.
