
Trinity, FL (August 27, 2024) – A 16-year-old boy sustained serious injuries after crashing his motorcycle into the back of a school bus on Monday, August 26. The accident occurred just before 3:30 p.m. on Trinity Blvd near Sweetspire Dr.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the teen was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound behind a bus carrying 42 middle school students. The bus, driven by a 62-year-old man, stopped for a pedestrian at a crosswalk. The motorcyclist failed to stop in time and collided with the bus.
The teen was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. No injuries were reported among the bus driver or the students. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the crash and are expected to provide updates as more information becomes available.
