Turlock, CA – Rollover Crash with Entrapment and Vehicle Fire at West Ave S and Angelus St

Turlock, CA (August 26, 2024) – A serious accident involving two vehicles occurred at the intersection of West Ave S and Angelus St on Sunday, August 25. Turlock Police, Fire, and American Medical Response were dispatched around 10:50 a.m. after reports of a collision that resulted in one vehicle overturning and catching fire.

Upon arrival, responders found that one of the vehicles had rolled onto its side and crashed into a fence, trapping a passenger inside. The vehicle began to smoke, but firefighters promptly extinguished the fire and safely extricated the individual. Two people sustained injuries in the crash, one of whom suffered a head injury.

The intersection was completely blocked in all directions as emergency crews worked to manage the situation. Authorities are continuing their investigation and will provide updates as they become available.
