Tuscarawas County, OH (September 19, 2024) – A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries following a crash on US 36 near Robin Rd on Wednesday morning, September 18. The incident occurred around 6:35 a.m. When the motorcycle failed to slow down in traffic and collided with an SUV.
The rider, identified as 34-year-old Tyler Crawford, was flown by Med Flight to Akron City Hospital due to the severity of his injuries. Troopers reported that Crawford was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the accident but have stated that alcohol or drugs are not believed to be factors. Further details will be provided as the investigation progresses.
