Valdosta, GA – One Student Injured in School Bus Crash at J L Lomax Elementary School

Valdosta, GA (September 16, 2024) – One student was hospitalized after a school bus crash involving Valdosta City Schools’ bus 92 on Monday morning. The bus, serving J L Lomax Elementary, was involved in a minor collision. Fewer than 25 students were on board at the time of the accident.

As a precaution, one student was taken to South Georgia Medical Center for evaluation. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident to determine the cause.
