Virginia Beach, VA (August 13, 2024) – On Monday evening, August 12, firefighters responded to a residential fire in the Landstown area. The incident occurred at 7:46 p.m. in the 1500 block of Big Boulder Dr. Heavy smoke and flames were visible from the left side of the two-story home upon their arrival.
The fire was quickly extinguished, and by 9:11 p.m., it was entirely under control. Two individuals were transported to Sentara Princess Anne Hospital, suffering from smoke inhalation and minor burns.
Three adults were displaced due to the damage. The cause and origin of the fire are still under investigation, with further updates expected as more information becomes available.
