Waldorf, MD – Fatal Motorcycle Collision on Old Washington Rd

Waldorf, MD (September 23, 2024) – A tragic motorcycle accident occurred early Sunday morning, September 22, at approximately 12:11 a.m. in the 2400 block of Old Washington Road. Patrol officers responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle.

Preliminary investigations revealed that a green 2003 Suzuki GSXR 600 motorcycle was traveling southbound on Old Washington Road when it struck a Ford Mustang, which was also heading southbound. The impact of the collision was severe, and the operator of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The driver of the Ford Mustang remained on the scene to cooperate with authorities. The Traffic Operations Unit is currently working to identify the motorcycle operator, who is described as an adult Hispanic male. At the time of the accident, he was wearing a T-shirt and shorts. It was noted that the motorcycle was not registered.
