West Barnstable, MA – Motorcycle Collision on Route 149 Results in Injuries

West Barnstable, MA (August 13, 2024) – A collision between a motorcycle and a truck occurred at the intersection of Route 149 and Osterville/West Barnstable RD around 7:20 AM on Monday. The victim was initially taken to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth.

Due to the severity of the injuries, a MedFlight helicopter was dispatched to transport the victim to a Boston trauma center. Barnstable Police have initiated a crash reconstruction to investigate the circumstances of the accident. The investigation into this serious incident remains ongoing.
