West Haven, CT (August 7, 2024) – A pedestrian sustained a head injury after being struck by a hit-and-run driver on Tuesday, August 6. The incident occurred at 8 p.m. on Saw Mill Rd near Greta St.
Emergency crews arrived promptly, and the injured pedestrian was transported to a local hospital. The victim is in stable condition, and the injury is not life-threatening.
The vehicle fled the scene and has not been located, according to Sgt. Patrick Buturla of the West Haven Police Department.
