Whitney, TX – Fatal Motorcycle Crash on E. Jefferson St

Whitney, TX (August 7, 2024) – A motorcyclist died in a three-vehicle accident on Monday, August 5, in Whitney. The crash occurred around 5:11 p.m. in the 800 block of E. Jefferson St. Whitney Police identified the deceased as Jason Collins, 52, of Whitney.

No other injuries were reported. Whitney Police expressed gratitude to the Texas Highway Patrol, Hill County Sheriff’s Office, Whitney Fire, and EMS for their assistance at the scene.
