Wichita, KS (October 21, 2024) – A tragic pedestrian accident occurred on Saturday evening, resulting in the death of a young girl. The incident took place just after 5:30 p.m. on October 19, at the intersection of 13th Street and N Scouller Street, near 13th and Ridge.

According to Sedgwick County dispatch, two girls were attempting to cross 13th Street from south to north when one of them was struck by a vehicle. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities following the incident. Fortunately, the other child was unharmed.
