Wilkinsburg, PA (August 13, 2024) – On Sunday, August 13, a tragic crash in Wilkinsburg claimed the life of one boy and injured another. The incident occurred just before 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Wallace Ave and Swissvale Ave, where a car struck a pole and burst into flames.

The driver, a boy, was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, also a boy, was rescued by a nearby resident and is now in stable condition.
