Wilmington, DE – Four Injured in DART Bus Accident at N Market St and E 44th St

Wilmington, DE (September 3, 2024) – A DART bus crashed into a utility pole around 7:00 AM Tuesday, September 3, at N Market St and E 44th St. Emergency responders from Brandywine Hundred and Claymont Fire Companies, along with New Castle County Paramedics, assessed four injured individuals at the scene. The collision knocked down the utility pole, leading to road closures on N Market St at Lea Blvd.
